New Equipment at JSC “KNAAPO”

The first in Russia automatic stand Brotje (Germany) for the fuselage assembly of “Sukhoi SuperJet 100” regional aircraft is put into operation at the “Sukhoi” Company” constituent - JSC “Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Production Association named after Yury Gagarin” (KNAAPO)

The stand considerably simplifies the process of leveling and rigging check of the fuselage sections, as earlier it took more than 3 days to level one of five sections. Now the whole process will take only a day. The fuselage sections rigging check is performed automatically with the use of a computer. Two operators control all actions from the control panel.

KNAAPO staff engaged in the stand have passed the training at "Brotje” and received appropriate certificates enable them to use and maintain the equipment.
